En demi-finale aller chez les dames, Arc-En-Ciel a battu V. Club (71-64), avant de se laisser surprendre en match retour (63-95).
En match de barrage, tel que prévu dans les règlements, V. Club a profité d’une certaine déconcentration de son adversaire pour le battre de nouveau (68-51), accédant du coup à la finale du play-off face aux filles de la sécurité sociale.
Même scénario en version masculine où Terreur, après sa victoire sur la SCTP (75-66), s’est fait battre par les Matelots en match retour par un score étroit de 61-62.
Conséquence de cette situation, le match de barrage, remporté in extremis par les joueurs de Julien Amisi Mampuya sur le score de 57-54.
De ce fait, Terreur se retrouvera en finale ce vendredi 28 juin 2019, face au BC New Gen, tenant du titre.
Au vu des formations en présence, ces deux rencontres de la finale du championnat de la LIPROBAKIN s’annoncent donc explosives.
En matches de classement, Tourbillon a courbé l’échine face à Arc-En-Ciel (61-71), alors que les Matelots se sont vengés de leur défaite de la veille face Terreur, sur DCMP qu’ils ont battu par 60-72.
