RDC :l’hydroxychloroquine et la quinine injectable lancées sur le marché par PHARMAKINA
La PHARMAKINA a mis sur le marché deux nouveaux produits pharmaceutiques : la quinine injectable et de l’hydroxychloroquine.
La quinine injectable sert dans la lutte contre la malaria tandis que l’hydroxychloroquine sera utilisée pour lutter contre la pandémie de Coronavirus.
L’inauguration du laboratoire qui fabrique ces deux produits a eu lieu le samedi 6 juin à Bukavu en présence du gouverneur de province Theo Kasi Nguabidje.
« Aujourd’hui c’est l’aboutissement de toute période de recherche et développement qui nous a permis d’atterrir sur ces deux produits. C’est d’abord les injectables de Quinine pour soigner le Paludisme et d’autre part, la production des comprimés d’hydroxychloroquine, les molécules qui sont utilisées aujourd’hui contre coronavirus », a indiqué Martial Kanyonyo, pharmacien responsable de la PHARMAKINA.

La PHARMAKINA Bukavu dit avoir ainsi répondu favorablement à l’appel du chef de l’État.
« La RDC n’était pas productrice de l’hydroxychloroquine et se retrouvait en difficultés d’approvisionnement. C’est ainsi que le chef de l’Etat pris une option politique que moi je dirais responsable, de demander à la PHARMAKINA de s’intéresser à cette molécule et de la produire pour les besoins du pays. Je suis heureux de constater que par ce travail de la PHARMAKINA, la RDC devient un producteur, un des pays rares qui produisent l’hydroxychloroquine pour ses besoins nationaux. En tant que médicament, la procédure d’agrément d’un médicament en RDC c’est de s’adresser au ministère de la santé. Nous avons suivi cette procédure en présentant au ministère notre prototype du produit, le dossier du produit et PHARMAKINA a déjà reçu l’autorisation de mettre ces produits sur le marché », détaille Martial Kanyonyo.
Le Président de la République, Felix Tshisekedi avait promis, le 24 mars, que la « Task force » qu’il dirige va réfléchir avec le comité de pilotage de la lutte contre le coronavirus sur les contours et l’opportunité d’appuyer la PHARMAKINA.
Dans son message à la nation, il a rappelé que cette usine pharmaceutique installée à Bukavu avait évoqué la possibilité de produire des comprimés et des injectables de l’hydroxychloroquine.
« Il est urgent que soit produite en quantité industrielle la chloroquine. Un médicament qui semble avoir montré son efficacité jusqu’à ce jour dans certains pays », avait déclaré le chef de l’Etat
